Who I Help
You look like you have it together, but inside you’re overwhelmed, overthinking, and stretched too thin.
I work with high-functioning adults, parents, and teens (14+) who want practical support to feel more steady, clear, and in control.

Primary Fit Anchor
I work with high-functioning adults, parents, and teens (14+) who feel overwhelmed, burned out, and stuck in patterns that are no longer working.
From the outside, they often appear to have it together, but internally they are exhausted from overthinking, over-functioning, and carrying too much for too long.
Many of the people I work with are used to being capable and dependable in high-pressure roles, even when they feel overwhelmed internally.
They are not looking to just vent. They want practical, effective therapy that helps them understand what is going on and make meaningful changes.
Strong Fit Contexts
This is likely a strong fit if you:
Feel burned out from managing work, family, and expectations
Struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or constant mental pressure
Are navigating a major life transition such as parenting, divorce, or identity shifts
Feel stuck in patterns you cannot seem to break
Want actionable therapy, instead of open-ended venting
You may especially relate if:
You are the one everyone relies on and you rarely slow down
Your mind feels constantly “on” and it is hard to shut it off
You second-guess decisions even when you are capable
You feel responsible for keeping everything together, even when you are exhausted
Context-specific examples:
For professionals and high-responsibility roles:
You work in healthcare, military, leadership, or another high-demand field
You are expected to stay calm and capable even when you feel overwhelmed
The pressure to perform and not make mistakes is constant
For parents:
You feel reactive, overwhelmed, or unsure how to respond to your child
You are exhausted from trying to stay patient and consistent
You find yourself second-guessing your parenting decisions
For teens and college students:
You feel overwhelmed by school, expectations, or future decisions
You struggle with perfectionism, procrastination, or motivation
You feel stuck in your head, overthinking, or unsure of who you are
Not the Right Fit
I am not the best fit for:
Couples therapy or relationship counseling
Children under age 14
Active substance use or addiction treatment
Eating disorders requiring specialized care
Severe mental illness such as psychosis or unmanaged bipolar disorder
Crisis or emergency services
Court-ordered, custody-related, or legal-involved cases
If you are in immediate distress or need urgent support, please contact 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or use a crisis service available in your area.
If you are unsure, a brief consultation can help determine fit. If this is not the right type of support, I will help guide you toward an appropriate referral.
Therapeutic Approach & Style
My approach is active, practical, and collaborative.
We will not only talk about what is going on, but we will also identify what is keeping you stuck and what to do about it.
For many high-functioning people, anxiety does not look like panic. It often shows up as:
Snapping at people you care about
Replaying conversations long after they are over
Feeling guilty no matter how much you accomplish
Saying yes when you really want to say no
Constantly preparing for what might go wrong
We work together to identify these patterns and shift them in ways that are practical and sustainable.
I integrate:
CBT for anxious thought spirals, second-guessing, and overthinking loops
ACT for getting unstuck and taking action even when anxiety or self-doubt shows up
Mindfulness-based tools for slowing reactivity and helping your nervous system settle in real time
Sessions are flexible and grounded in real life. Some days we go deeper and other days we focus on concrete tools you can use immediately.
I bring warmth, honesty, and direct feedback. I stay engaged and help you move forward.
For parents, therapy focuses on supporting you in your role as parent. I help you better understand patterns, respond more effectively, and feel more confident in how you handle challenges at home. This service is for the parent and does not include therapy for the child unless separately discussed and clinically appropriate.
For teens and college students, therapy focuses on managing anxiety, building emotional regulation skills, increasing confidence, and helping you make decisions without getting stuck in overthinking or pressure.

Strong Match Indicators
Clients tend to do well in this work if they:
Are high-functioning, but internally overwhelmed
Have tried to “think their way out” of anxiety without success
Want practical tools and real-life strategies
Prefer a therapist who is engaged, direct, and collaborative
Are willing to reflect and try new approaches
Feel ready for change and not just discussion
Clients who are a strong fit often begin to experience clearer insight, better emotional regulation, and more confidence in decision-making as therapy progresses.
Plain-Language Summary
I help overwhelmed adults, parents, and teens (14+) who feel stuck, anxious, or burned out understand what is happening and make practical changes that improve daily life.
This is active, straightforward therapy focused on helping you feel better and function more effectively. Not just talking things through, but actually changing what’s not working.
Next Step
If this sounds like what you’re looking for, the next step is to schedule a consultation.
We’ll talk through what’s going on, what you’re hoping for, and whether this feels like a good fit. If it’s not, I’ll be honest and help guide you toward something that is.
